Week 10 SNEAKY Pickups

Here are your SNEAKY pickups and trades for week 10.  Rather than simple waiver wire finds, I am going to give you some sneaky pickups for the future to help you get the edge in your league.  Also, I am going to give you some players to buy low or sell high if you are looking to improve your squad through trades.  The trade deadline is approaching, so if you have any trade questions tweet me.  As always, this is all about helping you win a league championship so leave me a comment or ask me a question on Twitter at  @JD_Honeycutt.  What do you have to lose other than another game?

Here are some sneaky pick-ups to consider adding or putting on your watch list for future weeks:

Carson Palmer, QB, Raiders - So did you listen to me and pick up Carson Palmer last week?  It may be too late, and you may now have to trade for him.  With McFadden and Goodson banged up, Palmer could be slinging the ball all the way to your fantasy playoffs.

Marcel Reese & Taiwan Jones, RB, Raiders - I really like Jones’ talent, but ball control issues may keep him from a larger role in this offense.  Reese is the better pass protector, and is the better pickup of the two.

Dwayne Allen, TE, Colts - With Fleener out another week, Allen should put up some nice numbers on Thursday night for the Colts.

Emmanuel Sanders, WR, Steelers - Antonio Brown is expected to be out this week, and Sanders should make a nice play in his absence.

Danario Alexander, WR, Chargers - Alexander had a nice stat line his first game as a Charger.  Vincent Brown is still not healthy enough to come back and Alexander is a nice pickup until Brown returns.

Donald Jones, WR, Bills - Jones does not have long term value, but he is a nice spot start against the Patriots this week.

Alshon Jeffrey, WR, Bears - Jeffrey is expected to be back in action after Week 10, and is a good grab and stash player for your fantasy playoffs.

Week 9 SNEAKY Pickups

Here are your SNEAKY pickups and trades for week 9.  Rather than simple waiver wire finds, I am going to give you some sneaky pickups for the future to help you get the edge in your league.  Also, I am going to give you some players to buy low or sell high if you are looking to improve your squad through trades.  The trade deadline is approaching, so this is one of the last weeks to make trades.  As always, this is all about helping you win a league championship so leave me a comment or ask me a question on Twitter at  @JD_Honeycutt.  What do you have to lose other than another game?

Here are some sneaky pick-ups to consider adding or putting on your watch list for future weeks:

Cecil Shorts, WR, Jaguars - It is hard to see Shorts as a reliable option with Blane Gabbert at the helm, but Shorts is getting the targets and could be a nice play for you going forward.

Ryan Broyles, WR, Lions - Titus Young is the obvious player to add off the waiver wire, but if he is gone or you are in a deeper league look to Broyles for some value.

Chris Givens, WR, Rams - I have written about Givens the past couple weeks here, but I thought I would leave him on for good measure.  He is going to be a special player.

TY Hilton, WR, Colts - Hilton has really impressed the Colts coaching staff, and with Luck progressing Hilton could be a real threat going forward.

Dwyane Allen, TE, Colts - Allen continues to get more targets in this offense, and with Fleener expected out the next couple weeks he could be a nice tight end option.

Kendall Wright, WR, Titans - I was skeptical when the Titans drafted an offensive player over defense in the draft, but Wright is the real deal and going to be a big play threat for years to come.

Jake Locker, QB, Titans - Locker is out again this week, but when he comes back healthy he could be a nice spot start during you fantasy playoffs.

Carson Palmer, QB, Raiders - Okay Palmer is never going to put up huge elite type numbers, but he is very consistent and he has a GREAT schedule going forward.

Danny Amendola, WR, Rams - The Rams are on a bye this week, but speculation has Amendola back next week.  If he is on your waiver wire pick him up NOW!

Other Players I have mentioned in past weeks: Brandon LaFell, Josh Gordon, Jonathan Dwyer, Brandon Myers and Philip Tanner

Buy Low Candidates:

Darren McFadden - McFadden has finally found some running room in this offense, and now could be a great time to trade for him if you can get him at value from another owner.

Daryl Richardson - Richardson continues to impress in this Rams backfield, and as the season becomes lost for this team they may give Richardson more and more chances.

Calvin Johnson - Chances are you won’t get him, but his owners are very frustrated right now.  I hear about it on Twitter all the time.   I won’t say he is cursed, but he has been MADDENing this season.  Sorry for the pun…no…no..no I’m not haha.

Sell High Candidates:

Michael Turner - Turner has a nice schedule going forward, and this could be a nice selling point.  With the Falcons 7-0 look for them to limit Turner’s carries with Jacquizz Rodgers to save him for the playoffs.

Titus Young - Young had a huge week last week, and was a top waiver wire add.  He still has good value going forward, but I am not convinced the Lions have figured out their offensive woes after one week.   If you landed Young it may be worth shopping him around for offers.

Week 8 TOAST or ROAST

Are you on the fringe of the playoffs and need a big win to put you back in the game?  Look no further.  I got your back!  I am a fan just like you, who just happens to obsess over the fantasy side of the game. Leave me a comment of ask me a question on Twitter @JD_Honeycutt.  You may have seen this named Start/Sit, Like/Dislike, or Love/Hate on other sites.  NOTE: This column is not meant for your obvious fantasy starters like Aaron Rodgers or Arian Foster, but rather your mid-tier players you may have to make roster decisions with this week.

TOAST These Players!

Philip Rivers vs. Browns - If you are like me and played Rivers that fateful Monday night when he threw four picks you want to stay far away from Rivers.  He has had the bye week to prepare, and he is going up against a weak Browns defense.  If he doesn’t perform this week, welcome to DUMPSVILLE Rivers.

Andrew Luck vs. Titans - Luck has been a solid fantasy start this season, and showed us why he was the #1 overall pick.  He has had some struggles on the road, but I can tell after going to many Titans games this season they just can’t stop anybody.

Peyton Manning vs. Saints - Stop me if you have seen how this plays out before.  Manning plays a weak defense and carves them up for multiple touchdowns?  Manning may not have the same arm strength as before, but he is still a top quarterback in this league.

Chris Johnson vs. Colts - Johnson has rewarded owners who have been patient with him over the past few weeks, and expect him to stay hot against a weak Colts run defense.

Rashad Jennings vs. Packers - With news that MJD is out for a few weeks, Jennings was the top waiver wire pickup this week.  Although this offense is not high powered, I have really liked what I have seen from Jennings when MJD has been out in the past.

Willis McGahee vs. Saints - McGahee has been up and down this season, but he should have a good showing against this poor Saints defense.  Manning should be able to move this ball up the field as well, and that could mean some goal line carries and pay dirt for McGahee.

Mike Wallace vs. Redskins - Wallace had some drops last week, but expect him to rebound with a nice performance against this weak Redskins secondary.

Randall Cobb vs. Jaguars - Cobb is a really nice play with Jennings out and Nelson banged up.  Cobb has emerged the past few weeks, and he should stay hot.

Reggie Wayne vs. Titans - Reggie Wayne could be targeted early and often, and look for him to rack up the yards and maybe even find the endzone.

Greg Olsen vs. Bears - Yes the Bears defense has been solid this year, but they do allow points to tight ends.  Newton will need a safety valve to get the passing game going and Olsen is a nice target for him.

Martellus Bennett vs. Cowboys - Bennett has been relatively quiet the past couple weeks, but look for him to breakout against the Cowboys this week.

Seahawks D/ST - This Lions offense use to make scared to start a defense against them, but start the Seahawks with confidence against this struggling offense.

ROAST These Players!

Matt Stafford vs. Seahawks - It is amazing to say, but Stafford is now a matchup based play until further notice.  This is a not a good matchup for him.

Alex Smith vs. Cardinals - Smith has quietly put up some nice numbers this season, but the Cardinals defense has played on a high level this season.  Look for the 49ers to ground and pound this game out.

LaRod Stephens-Howling vs. 49ers - LaRod had a very nice stat line last week, but if you picked him up keep him on your bench against the tough 49ers D.

Deangelo Williams vs. Bears - Reports out of Charlotte are that Jonathan Stewart will get the start again this week, and Williams will come in off the bench.  This was a tough matchup to begin with, but now Williams may not even be worth a roster spot.

Mikel Leshoure vs. Seahawks - Leshoure has not quite shown the same burst he had in his first start against the Titans.  I still expect him to have some nice games coming up, but this is not one of them.

Brandon Lloyd vs. Rams - I don’t know what is going on with Lloyd this season, but look for Cortland Finnegan to go toe to toe with Lloyd this week and limit his production.

Larry Fitzgerald vs.49ers - You probably can’t afford to bench Fitzgerald, but I don’t see him having a nice game here.  Is it just me or have I heard the fantasy experts say for the past 2 1/2 years that you can’t bench Fitzgerald because of his QB because he is too talented.  Well… he is so inconsistent because of his QB’s that it is frustrating to own him.

Dwayne Bowe vs. Raiders - I am secretly hoping Brady Quinn has a nice game for the Chiefs, but it is hard to recommend starting Bowe with Quinn at the helm this week.

Jared Cook vs. Colts - Believe it or not, the Colts lead the NFL in stopping tight ends even with their struggles.

Jacob Tamme vs. Saints - Tamme has been up and down this season, and even though I expect a nice game for the Broncos look for Dressen to take some target away from Tamme.

Eagles D/ST - The Eagles have a stout defense, and should be OK coming off the bye week but this Falcons offense has been rolling all season.

Week 8 SNEAKY Pickups

Here are your SNEAKY pickups and trades for week 8.

Titus Young, WR, Lions - Titus and really all the Lions have been one a the largest disappointments this season.  However, with Nate Burleson going doing to injury, and Megatron drawing so much coverage Young could be a nice play.

Leonard Hankerson, WR, Redskins - Hankerson has been up and down, but with news of Garcon expected to be out a few more weeks and Fred Davis being placed on IR Hankerson could carve out more of a role in this high-powered offense.  Santana Moss should also receive more targets, and is also a nice pickup this week.

Vincent Brown, WR, Chargers - Brown is now eligible to come back to practice and play.  It sounds like he is still a few weeks away, but if you are looking prime for a playoff run Brown could be a nice add.

Brandon Myers, TE, Raiders - I have to admit that Carson Palmer has surprised me this season.  He has been a solid real life and fantasy QB, and he has a real connection with Myers.  If you have a TE on a bye Myers is a nice play.

Jordan Cameron, TE, Browns - Cameron is more of a dynasty league addition to your roster than to a standard league, but keep and eye on him.  He has lots of talent and could be the next Jimmy Graham.

Brandon Weeden, QB, Browns - Weeden is quietly putting up some solid numbers, and is doing it under the radar.  It won’t stay that way for long.

Brandon LaFell, WR, Panthers - LaFell has been dropped in quite a few leagues, but I expect this offense to start clicking again in the near future.

Other finds I have mentioned in past weeks: Randall Cobb, Jerome Simpson, Jeremy Kerley, Daryl Richardson, Vick Ballard, Chris Givens, Josh Gordon, Domenik Hixson, Kendall Wright, and Earl Bennett.

Buy Low Candidates:

Andrew Luck – Luck has had a couple of off weeks, but he has a great schedule going forward especially during the fantasy playoffs.  He could be a great addition to your roster.

Matt Stafford - Now could be a good time to pry Stafford away from a frustrated owner, just be aware he has a tough schedule and he is now more of a matchup play.

Greg Jennings - Jennings is still a couple of weeks away from getting healthy, but he could be a great play in your fantasy playoffs if you can get him cheap.

Carson Palmer - Palmer has some really nice matchups during the fantasy playoffs, and he has been a solid fantasy QB this season.

Sell High Candidates:

Chris Johnson – Johnson has finally found some running room!  I still believe him to be a matchup play, and he has some decent matchup in the future.  See what you might be able to get for him.

Mike Wallace - He is getting the targets, and is still a great play but Wallace slowed down towards the end of the season last year and this offense just seems to click more when Antonio Brown gets the ball.

Wes Welker - Welker is still a stud in this offense, but with Aaron Hernandez and Julian Edelman back Welker could see a decrease in targets.  ONLY sell him at a high value though!

Have a questions this week?  Do you agree or disagree with some of my picks?  Leave me a comment and let me know.

Week 7 Toast or Roast

Are you on the fringe of the playoffs and need a big win to put you back in the game?  Look no further.  I got your back!

Eli Manning, QB, Giants - I am playing against Manning in my big league this week, and I don’t want him to have a huge game.  However, the stats show he is in for a big game against a weak Redskins secondary.

Andrew Luck, QB, Colts - Luck has had some rough outing as rookies do, but I expect both him and Weeden to be caught in a shootout this week.

Jay Cutler, QB, Bears – I love when I have players going on Monday night, especially when they have a great matchup like Cutler.  Unless, it is Philip Rivers throwing four picks and ruining you fantasy week like last Monday!

Chris Johnson, RB, Titans - Johnson is no longer a fantasy beast, but he is a good matchup play against the Bills this week.

Darren Sproles, RB, Saints - With news of Jimmy Graham out this week, expect Sproles to be involved more in the short passing game.

Vick Ballard, RB, Colts - Ballard will not see all the carries in this backfield, but if you need some RB help Ballard should do a nice job with his 12-15 carries and could even find the end zone.

Mike Williams, WR, Buccaneers - Both Williams and Jackson are in line for a great week against a Saints defense which has been atrocious at stopping the pass.

Randall Cobb, WR, Packers - The Rams passing defense is stout, but expect them to focus on Jones and Nelson and leave Cobb open for some short underneath throws.  He is an especially nice play in PPR formats.

Kenny Britt, WR, Titans - Play your receiver on the Titans and the Bills this week, as this game has shootout written all over it.  Britt is back healthy and is in line for a nice stat line against the Bills.

Scott Chandler, TE, Bills - Chandler is a boom or bust play, but the Titans have a tough time covering tight ends.

Owen Daniels, TE, Ravens - Daniels and the Texans defense had a tough week last week, but the sledding should be easier for Daniels this week on a banged up Ravens squad.

Vikings D/ST - How are the Vikings still available in some many leagues?  They have a great matchup against the Cardinals offense with Skelton at the helm.

Raiders D/ST - If you are in need of a sleeper defense, look to the Raiders going up against the struggling Jaguars offense.

ROAST These Players!

Christian Ponder, QB, Vikings - Ponder has been a great play this season, but it will be a tough day for him against a stout Cardinals defense.

Cam Newton, QB, Panthers - Newton’s sophomore slump should continue against a Cowboys secondary that is allowing the fewest points to quarterbacks this year.

Joe Flacco, QB, Ravens - Flacco has been a nice surprise this season, but Flacco is not a good play against the Texans.  Look for the Texans to come back with a vengeance after getting romped against the Packers last week.

Steven Jackson, RB, Rams - Jackson is not longer a good play, as he will lose more and more carries to Daryl Richardson.  Only use him if he has a great matchup.

Mikel Leshoure, RB, Lions - Leshoure should see the lions share of carries with news that Jahvid Best in to coming back, but it will be tough to find room to run against this Bears defense.

Shonn Greene, RB, Jets - Greene has a wonderful week against the Colts last week, but don’t let that cloud your judgement into thinking he will have another big week against the Patriots.

Steve Smith, WR, Carolina - Smith will get back on track with Newton this season, but don’t expect it to be against this Dallas secondary.

Torrey Smith, WR, Ravens - Its hard to bench a deep threat like Smith, but temper expectations for him this week.

Andre Roberts, WR, Cardinals - Roberts developed a nice rapport with Kolb, but don’t expect to see the same workload for Roberts with Skelton taking over this offense.

Kyle Rudolph, TE, Vikings - Rudolph has been a beast lately, but the Cardinals do a great job at covering tight ends and it may be tougher for him to find the end zone.

Dennis Pitta, TE, Ravens - Pitta started the season strong, but has faded the past few weeks.  Don’t expect him to breakout against the Texans.

Giants D/ST - The Giants have a great defense, but the Redskins have not allowed many defenses the chance to cash in on points.

Jets D/ST - The Jets should struggle against a high octane Patriots offense.

Did I answer your questions this week?  If not leave me a message or send me a tweet if you have specific questions for  me!  Good luck!

Week 7 SNEAKY Pickups & Trades

Here are your SNEAKY pickups and trades for week 7.  I apologize for the deal, but my site was experiencing some technical difficulties.  Rather than simple waiver wire finds, I am going to give you some sneaky pickups for the future to help you get the edge in your league.  Also, I am going to give you some players to buy low or sell high if you are looking to improve your squad through trades.  As always, this is all about helping you win a league championship so leave me a comment or ask me a question on Twitter at  @JD_Honeycutt.  What do you have to lose other than another game?

Here are some sneaky pick-ups to consider adding or putting on your watch list for future weeks:

Montario Hardesty, RB, Browns – All indications point to Trent Richardson being ready to play this week against the Colts, but with the Browns 1-5 expect them to be conservative with Richardson now and in the future.
Daryl Richardson, RB, Rams – Richardson has now turned the Rams backfield into a Committee situation.  With Jackson expected to be out of St. Louis next season, look for Richardson to get more carries going forward.
Phillip Tanner, RB, Cowboys – Felix Jones is the obvious name to start while Murray is hurt, but Jones has been unimpressive with his chances in the past.
Baron Batch, RB, Steelers – This backfield is banged up, and Batch did a nice job filling in for Mendenhall, Redman, and Dwyer against the Titans.
John Skelton, QB, Cardinals – Don’t forget that Skelton was the starter coming into the season, and if he plays well he could keep this job.
Jake Locker, QB, Titans – Locker has been dropped in a bunch of leagues after his injury, but he is a talented player if you have a bench spot to stash him.
Dexter McCluster, WR, Chiefs – With Cassel expected back, and now that McCluster is healthy he could be a nice option in the near future.
Danny Amendola, WR, Rams – Reports are out that Amendola may be back sooner than you think.  If he has been dropped in your league go add him for the future.
Sell high candidates
Matt Stafford – Stafford just does not look like the same QB this year, and continues to struggle.  If you can get some value for him, go shop him around.
Jordy Nelson – Its hard to part with Jordy after a huge week, but go find a Packers fan willing to give up a elite player for him.
Shonn Greene – If someone wants to bite on him, I would get a player for him while I can!
Buy low candidates
Benjarvus Green-Ellis – I am not saying he is a fantasy stud, but he still has value left in the tank.
Kendall Wright – A gut call here, but with Kenny Britt back I expect Wright to break out.

Sneaky Finds & Trades

So after some help from frequent readers and contributors (mainly Russ Cornwall and Kyle Steffen) I am creating a new weekly article.  Rather then simple waiver wire finds, I am going to give you some sneaky pickups for the future to help you get the edge in your league.

1. Jahvid Best, RB, Lions - Best is not someone to add right away, but keep him on your radar.  Indications are he may return to action from the PUP list in Week 7 against the Bears.  Mikel Leshoure has done a nice job for the Lions and Best does have a history of concussions, but when Best sees the field he is electric.  You are probably only adding him if you need help at running back, or if you have room for a speculative add for your bench.

2.  Alex Green, RB, Packers - Cedric Benson has the dreaded lisfranic foot injury, and is expected to be out 8 weeks.  He is now droppable in most leagues, and if you need help I would look to Alex Green.  Green showed some nice burst in the game against the Colts last week.  The Packers are never going to be a power running team behind a porous offensive line and the receiving options they have, but Green could be a nice bye week fill in.  James Starks may also get some work in this backfield, but I believe Green is the better add.

3.  Tim Tebow, QB, Jets - I am not convinced Rex Ryan is smart enough to start Tebow in time to save the Jets season, but how how often is a potential top 10 fantasy quarterback available on the waiver wire?  You do not need to add him immediately, but wait too long and it might be too late!

4. William Powell, RB, Cardinals - Beanie Wells and Ryan Williams are both gone for the season, so it has opened the door for a new running back in Arizona.  This one is tough to recommend because I haven’t seen any indications the Cardinals can run the ball well….period.  Also, Alfonso Smith played well in some limited action last season and Larod Stephens-Howling is in line to get some carries.  Powell is atop the depth chart so he is the best bet.

5.  Josh Gordon, WR, Browns - After Gordon scored two touchdowns last week it may be too late to add him in your league, but with Greg Little losing the trust of Weeden with his case of the drops Gordon could emerge as a nice target for Weeden.  This offense will never be consistent enough to have superstars, but as Weeden becomes more consistent they could be ready to emerge around fantasy playoff time.  Another guy I have my eye on especially in PPR formats is Jordan Norwood.  He had nine balls thrown his way last week, and he caught all nine of them!

6. T.Y. Hilton, WR, Colts - Neither Hilton or Donnie Avery has emerged as the clear #2 option for Andrew Luck, but my money is on Hilton.  This guy is a burner, and look for him to continue to emerge in the passing game.  I would also keep an eye on Dwayne Allen as Luck has shown his talent who not over-hyped coming out of Stanford.

7.  Chris Givens, WR, Rams - With Danny Amendola out for the next few weeks, a new target will emerge for Sam Bradford.  Sure, Brandon Gibson will get more targets but I like what I have seen out of Givens more than Gibson.

8.  Earl Bennett, WR, Bears - Promising rookie wide receiver Alshon Jeffery will be sidelined for at least 4-6 weeks with a broken hand.  Brandon Marshall is clearly the #1 target for Cutler, but don’t sleep on Bennett who has been effective with Cutler in the past.  They both played at Vanderbilt, and have shown a good rapport in the past.

9.  James Jones, WR, Packers - Okay so this one is an anomaly to me.  Jones does not pass the eye test compared to Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, and Jermichael Finley but Jones has emerged into a nice option with Aaron Rodgers.  Get him on your team if he is still available.

10. Christian Ponder, QB, Vikings - I am officially a believer, yes… okay I know his first name is Christian…HA-HA lets move on.  He is not going to put up huge numbers, but he is a great matchup based play.  Ponder no longer and add him to your roster!

Other notables mentioned in past weeks: Andrew Hawkins, Jeremy Kerley, Golden Tate and Jerome Simpson (monitor his injury)

Buy Low Trade Prospects

Mike Wallace - Wallace is a pretty popular name so it may be tough to deal for him.  He has had a bit of a slow start, but expect him to get going again on the latter half of the season.

Donald Brown - Brown has struggled behind a bad Colts offensive line.  He has not had a breakout week as of yet, but an easier schedule ahead looks favorable for him.  Luck is also progressing quickly, which should open up some holes for Brown to run through.  (*This article was written before news of Donald Brown’s injury came to light.  Vick Ballard is the back to target off the waiver wire in his absence.*)

Benjarvus Green-Ellis - Ellis had a miserable game against a tough Dolphins run defense, but with Bernard Scott going down to injury look for the Law Firm to rebound in the near future.

Sell High Candidates

Ahmad Bradshaw - Bradshaw’s value will never be higher than after a HUGE game against the Browns.  Bradshaw is always an injury risk so try to deal him for a big name.

Reggie Wayne - As a Colts fan if I owned Wayne you would probably have to offer me stock options in Apple to have me part with him, but his value will never be higher if you can get a good offer for him.

Marques Colston – Colston had a monster game and you think I should trade him?  Colston has a history of injury and is too inconsistent to be elite.  Shop him out there and see what you might get for him.

Stevan Ridley - Ridley fumbled again this past week, which has put him in Belichick’s doghouse in the past.  He has been so productive, but I just don’t see continued production with him with Bolden, Vereen, and Woodhead getting carries in this backfield.

Okay fans, shoot me a line if you have any trade questions this week or if you have any comments.

Week 5: Toast or Roast

So now we have had a few of these columns, have they helped you out?   You may have seen this named Start/Sit, Like/Dislike, or Love/Hate on other sites.  I am going to stick with the Jack Daniels theme so I will toast the players you should start this week, and Roast the ones you should consider benching.  NOTE: This column is not meant for your obvious fantasy starters like Aaron Rodgers or Arian Foster, but rather your mid-tier players you may have to make roster decisions with this week.  Feel free to leave me a comment letting me know what you think, and follow me on Twitter @JD_Honeycutt.  Let me know if you have any lineup questions for this weekend!

TOAST These Players!

Peyton Manning, QB, Broncos - A couple more solid weeks and Peyton will be a must start.  In other news, you guys should check out the QB link I retweeted earlier.  Beware that there is some language, but it is epic.

Philip Rivers, QB, Chargers - I know Rivers has had a slow start, but he is going up against a weak Saints defense this week.  If he struggles this week, it may be time to find a replacement.

Andy Dalton, QB, Bengals - Dalton has quietly put up great numbers this season, and he has another great matchup this week against the Dolphins.

Joe Flacco, QB, Ravens - I am not wacko for Flacco just yet, but give him the start against a struggling Chiefs secondary.

QB Sleeper of the Week: Christian Ponder, Vikings

Cedric Benson, RB, Packers – Benson has not been real consistent this season, but he is a nice play against the Colts.

Willis McGahee, RB, Broncos – Look for Peyton to get it in close against the Patriots, and for McGahee to punch it in from short yardage.

Michael Turner, RB, FalconsI have been down on the Burner this year, but all indications are that he has some tread left on his tires.

RB Sleeper of the Week: Donald Brown, Colts

Jordy Nelson, WR, Packers - Jordy has been a bit of a bust so far, but keep him in your lineup this week.

Michael Crabtree, WR, 49ers - Crabtree has been quiet, but I expect this to be his bust out game.

Jeremy Maclin, WR, Eagles - Maclin has been injury plagued, but with all the bye weeks give him the start despite the tough matchup against the Steelers.

Reggie Wayne, WR, Colts - Reggie is clearly Luck’s favorite target, and after some rest expect him to be sharp against the Packers this week.

WR Sleeper of the Week: Domenik Hixon, Giants

Dennis Pitta, TE, Ravens - Okay Pitta had a goose egg on Thursday Night Football, but give him another shot.

Kyle Rudolph, TE, Vikings - Rudolph is going up against a Titans defense that has allowed a ton on points to tight ends this season.

Owen Daniels, TE, Texans - Daniels is starting to cash in on his talent in the Texans offense.

Tony Gonzales, TE, Falcons - Not that you were thinking of benching him, but just in case!

TE Sleeper of the Week: Marcedes Lewis, Jaguars

Vikings D/ST – The Vikings have a much better fantasy defense than you think.

Dolphins D/ST - It is defenses like the Dolphins why I always wait to draft a defense, because it changes so much year to year.

ROAST These Players!

Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, Bills - Fitzpatrick always seems to do this to us where he has a great start, and then slows down towards the end.  I don’t expect a great day from him against a stout 49ers defense.

Michael Vick, QB, Eagles – Vick has fallen out of the elite QB’s because of his lack of rushing production.  It is not likely you have a better option, but if you do consider benching him.

Alex Smith, QB, 49ers - This is more of a gut call here, but Kapernick was so effective as the wildcat QB last week I could see him getting in the game more often from now on.

Benjarvus Green-Ellis, RB, Bengals - I like Green-Ellis this season, but the Dolphins are allowing just over 2 yards per carry.

DeAngelo Williams, RB, Panthers - With Jonathan Stewart back in the lineup against the Seahawks, this is back to being a crowded backfield.

Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller, RB, Bills - Remember my rule about starting running backs against the 49ers?

Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Steelers – Mendenhall is back!  Give him a week to get his legs back before putting him in your lineup.

Pierre Garcon, WR, Redskins - Garcon is still dealing with a foot ailment, and reports are out that he is still not 100%.

Brian Hartline, WR, Dolphins - Hartline has a big week every other week, so put him in your lineup NEXT WEEK.

Andrew Hawkins, WR, Bengals - Everyone seems really high on Hawkins this week, but I just don’t see it.

Heath Miller, TE, Steelers - Miller has had some nice stat lines, but expect him to slow down against the Eagles defense.

Coby Fleener, TE, Colts - Fleener is not having the hot season I thought he would with Luck this year.

Jets D/ST - This team needs a heavy dose of Tebow time!

Chargers D/ST - The Chargers have had some good weeks lately, but the Saints is a bad matchup for them.
